Medical Milestones

A Century of ExcellenceThe first health network you think of when you think of firsts.

Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's HealthCare delivers a continuity of care with more than 770,000 patient visits annually. We offer easy access to expert care in every specialty, while the patient remains close to home enjoying the support of family and friends. Jewish Hospital — excellence above all.

Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's HealthCare (JHSMH) is a regional health care network that includes 70 health care facilities and 1,900 patients beds in Kentucky and southern Indiana.  The merger of Jewish Hospital HealthCare Services and CARITAS Health Services to form JHSMH combines the strength and honors the heritage of two organizations to provide a complete array of health care services to this region and beyond, including: hospitals, emergency air ambulance services, outpatient care, nursing home care, occupational health, psychiatric care and rehab medicine.

JHSMH provides home health care to families in 41 Kentucky and southern Indiana counties, occupational health mobile services to 30 Kentucky counties and employs a network of physician practices that provide both primary and specialty medical care.  The organization employs more than 8,100 people.

From new innovative procedures to medical breakthroughs, from heart to hand surgery, from minor to major surgery and treatment, from new equipment to high-technology — for more than 100 years — surgeons throughout the Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's HealthCare Network have continued to look for ways to care for and improve the lives of those around us.
