Community Report:
Giving Back to Bullitt County

In 2007 MCS team members gave 2,421 hours to community service and volunteer projects in the area. That breaks down to a contribution of more than 200 volunteer hours a month by our 180 team members. Some of the organizations that benefited from these volunteer hours include the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and the National Senior Games.
In addition to the hours donated by team members, MCS sponsors several initiatives important to the Bullitt County community. MCS is a partner of the Bullitt County Chamber of Commerce and is the presenting sponsor of the Bullitt County Health Expo in September. The expo now has run for five years, and it offers a variety of free health screenings to the community.
Other organizations and events MCS supports include the Zoneton Fire Department, Bullitt County Emergency Medical Services, Bullitt County YMCA, Bernheim Arboretum and KidsFest — to name a few. MCS is proud to be a member of this community and to partner with so many worthy organizations and causes throughout the year. We look forward to continuing well into the future.
