Tree of Life

Throughout the ages, trees have stood as a symbol of life - the life of someone special, such as a friend or loved one. And the Trees of Life at Jewish Hospital, Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital and Jewish Hospital Shelbyville provide a great way to honor those people.

Located in the main lobby of each facility, the tree's great expanse of branches symbolizes life, and our organization's mission to reach out to the community. The trunk nurtures and sustains life, defining the vigor with which Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's HealthCare continues to provide hope, respect and compassion for all.

All proceeds support Jewish Hospital, Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital and Jewish Hospital Shelbyville, hospitals with roots that run deep. The leaves, stones and apples may be inscribed to honor, highlight, commemorate or memorialize people and significant events in our lives.
